Francis DuBose Richardson memoirs, undated.

History of three generations of his family, ca. 1680-1856, set down by Richardson from personal recollections and family tradition, chiefly concerning Arthur Richardson, planter and Revolutionary War soldier of South Carolina; his son Francis (1760-1817), who emigrated to Wilkinson County, Miss., in 1810 and fought in the War of 1812; and Francis's son John Gaulden Richardson (1785-1856), father of Francis DuBose, who began sugar planting in Louisiana in the 1820s.
